When God Gives You A Dream

It's wise to write down your dreams that you know are from God. How do you know they're from Him? Your heart will let you know beyond a shadow of a doubt. All I can say is, "You know, that you know, that you know!"

In my dream I saw what looked like an iPad with a scrolling musical score. It could be described as watching a player piano where the music kept moving. I couldn't read any words, but I knew they were there. As the black printed score disappeared off the screen, the color turned to pink.

As soon as I saw the pink colored musical score, I knew immediately that this was a song from God. It was a song written for my life on the day I was born. Even though I couldn't see any words, It was an instant "knowing" that this was from God.

The word in Greek for an instant knowing is, "Gnosis" and it means, knowledge or spiritual knowing. Imagine yourself just knowing something because you just know it. It's not easy to explain, but it happens.

After the dream I started asking God what might the lyrics of my birth-song or life-song be. He started me off with three words, "Do your best."

Later in the week, more words came, "excellence, prepared, diligence." The message is all about doing my life as if I'm doing things for God. This is an ongoing learning process - as it always is with God.
